PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of reducing power consumption without sacrificing convenience of users.SOLUTION: An electronic device includes; a plurality of display sections for displaying functional images for a user to enter instructions; a plurality of manipulation sections which are provided in association with the plurality of display sections and detects user's manipulation on the functional images; a power control unit which controls supply of power to the plurality of display sections and the plurality of manipulation sections; and a control unit which let the power control unit stop supplying power to at least one of the plurality of manipulation sections and moves the functional images in the display sections associated with the manipulation sections to which supply of power is cut off to different display sections.
