PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk storage device able to restrict countermeasure processing for the influence of a peripheral track and improve read/write performance.SOLUTION: According to the invention, a disk storage device comprises first storage means, second storage means and a controller. The first storage means stores information for determining the degree of influence of writing on a peripheral track, using, as a reference, a track to be written on a disk. The second storage means has a nonvolatile cache area configured to temporarily store data. The controller performs a cache process in which if the degree of influence exceeds a reference value based on the information when data is written on a writing target track specified on the disk, the data is stored in the nonvolatile cache area. |
