PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of efficiently releasing electrostatic mist while reducing decrease of the electrostatic mist by safely and reliably generating the electrostatic mist.SOLUTION: An electrostatic atomizer 2 generating the electrostatic mist, is disposed on an external proper position of a blow opening 7 outside of a main channel for indoor unit air distribution, and not affected by temperature of wind from the main channel 14, a discharge pipe 5 configuring a discharge portion of the electrostatic atomizer, has a plurality of bent portions from the electrostatic atomizer to an outlet, and wall surfaces colliding with the electrostatic mist of the bent portions are inclined surface portions. As the electrostatic atomizer generates the electrostatic mist by the air not affected by a temperature of the air after heat exchange that flows in the main channel, the electrostatic mist can be safely and reliably generated regardless of an operation mode and season, and further the electrostatic mist smoothly flows in the discharge pipe and is efficiently released indoors by suppressing the decrease due to collision at the inclined surface portions of the bent portions. |
