PURPOSE: A slab measuring apparatus is provided to have simple measuring equipment for measuring the shape of slabs by measuring the width and thickness of the slabs while a movable measuring part having a laser sensor member moves along a guide rail part. CONSTITUTION: A slab measuring apparatus comprises a guide rail part(20), a movable measuring part(30), and a main control part(40). The guide rail part is installed along the circumference of slabs reached to a measured point. The movable measuring part measures the variation of distance between the slabs and the guide rail part while moving along the guide rail part. The main control part receives the measured value of the movable measuring part to calculate the outer shape of the slabs. |
