PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating primary cells, the method enabling cultivation of primary cells having excellent bioactivity, using a fewer number of the cells compared with before, on a surface or inside of a cell culture carrier, without forming cell lumps, as a discontinuous monolayer of cells including single cells.SOLUTION: A method of cultivating primary cells is provided, the method of inoculating primary cells, as a method to cultivate the cells, on a cell culture carrier comprising inorganic fiber whose average fiber diameter is not more than 3 μm, the number of the primary cells used at the time of the inoculation being below the number necessary for monolayer cultivation. |
