PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end position determination device enabling determination accuracy of an end position of a conveyance object medium to be improved, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A CIS sensor 8 detects the position of a direction body crossing a conveyance direction of a conveyance object medium P. After an image processing part 100 as reference position determination means determines a position to be reference of the conveyance object medium P by comparing an output from the CIS sensor 8 with a predetermined first threshold, the image processing part 100 as threshold calculation means determines a second threshold for determining an end of the conveyance object medium P on the basis of an output from the CIS sensor 8 separated from the reference position to the outside of an area of the conveyance object medium P by a predetermined first distance, and an output from the CIS sensor 8 separated to an inner side of the conveyance object medium P by a predetermined second distance, and the end position of the conveyance object medium P is determined by comparing the second threshold with the outputs of the CIS sensor 8. |
