PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood lock device which facilitates deformation of an auxiliary lever to be caused by deformation of a hood, while having rigidity of the auxiliary lever.SOLUTION: A hood lock device 101 is capable of operating in a lock state fixing a hood covering an engine room of a vehicle in a state that the engine room is closed, and a lock release state releasing fixation of the hood. The hood lock device 101 includes an auxiliary lever 10 including: an engaging part 15 engaging with the hood in the lock release state to prevent the hood from being opened; and a lever part 11 moving the engaging part 15 engaging with the hood to release the engagement. The lever part 11 can be bent so as to make the tip of the lever part 11 face an opposite side to the hood closing the engine room. The bending direction of the lever part 11 is different from an operation direction of the lever part 11 releasing the engagement of the engaging part 15 in the lock release state. |
