摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-inertia rotor for rotary machine that comprises: a main shaft; and a rotor yoke shaft as different bodies, and has a ring-shaped recessed part formed by making the main shaft penetrate a columnar recessed part formed in the rotor yoke shaft.SOLUTION: There are provided a low-inertia rotor 1 for a rotary machine and a method of processing the same such that the low-inertia rotor includes: a key or key groove formed in a main shaft 3; a cylindrical rotor yoke shaft 2 having a hole for the main shaft with a key groove or key; and first and second columnar recessed parts formed at both ends of the rotor yoke shaft 2, and the main shaft 3 penetrates the second columnar recessed parts to change the first and second columnar recessed parts into first and second ring-shaped recessed parts 4, 5.
