PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten measuring time required for obtaining adequate measurement accuracy of radiation.SOLUTION: In this radiation measuring device 1, a data retrieval section 23 retrieves position information which matches a current position detected by a positioning section 9 within a prescribed acceptable range, from a database 30 which stores historical measurement data of spatial radiation in association with position information, and obtains historical measurement data corresponding to the retrieved position information. A dose rate calculation section 22 calculates a spatial radiation dose rate and a statistical relative error thereof on the basis of both historical and current measurement data, if a spatial radiation dose rate based on the historical measurement data obtained from the database 30 and a spatial radiation dose rate based on measurement data obtained by a radiation detector 6 from the start of measurement up to the current moment match each other within a prescribed acceptable range. A measurement control section 21 ends measurement by the radiation detector when the calculated relative error goes below a prescribed reference value. |
