PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery housing device in which the cost of an intermediate electrode disposed between batteries arranged in one row can be reduced, and which can be assembled conveniently in a short time.SOLUTION: A housing section 3 for housing a plurality of batteries 90, side by side, per one row is provided with a partition 4 for partitioning respective batteries 90, and intermediate electrodes 6a, 6b for connecting the batteries 90, in series, are disposed in the partition 4. In such a multimeter 1, the partition 4 has a wall-shaped holding wall 41 between the batteries 90, and the intermediate electrode 6a has a conductive plate member 20 bend so as to sandwich the holding wall 41. A positive electrode 21 in contact with the positive electrode of the battery 90 is provided on one side 21 of the plate member 20, a negative electrode 32 in contact with the negative electrode of the battery 90 is provided on the other side 31 of the plate member 20, and is held while sandwiching the holding wall 41. |
