PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch and gesture input-based terminal control method and a terminal therefor which make it possible to more intuitively and easily perform operations that are difficult to manage with a touch input alone.SOLUTION: The terminal control method includes the steps of: detecting a touch input; selecting at least one object corresponding to the touch input; detecting a gesture input; and performing switching in a state where the object is held in accordance with the touch input.
