PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power measurement device for measuring consumption power from current information of a cable way and outputting it to the outside, which can be installed without performing a power source construction separately.SOLUTION: The power measurement device includes: a measurement circuit 4 for arranging a converter 1 on a cable way L and measuring electric power; a storage battery 3 for supplying power to each circuit; a switch circuit 5 for switching a secondary side connection of the converter 1 between the measurement circuit 4 and the storage battery 3; a radio circuit 6 for transmitting power information to the outside; and a control circuit 7 for controlling each circuit. The control circuit 7 switches and controls the switch circuit 5 at a constant time interval, makes the measurement circuit 4 measure electric power on the basis of the current information of the converter 1 and, during the other period of time when electric power measurement is not performed, connects the secondary side of the converter 1 to the storage battery 3 for charging. During a charge operation, the control circuit 7 enters a stand-by state. |
