PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance film type touch panel that includes: a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes that extend in directions intersecting with each other in which damage by contact between the electrodes is reduced.SOLUTION: A resistance film type touch panel 2 includes: a plurality of lower electrodes Y1, Y6, and Y7; and a plurality of upper electrodes. The lower electrodes extend in a Y-direction. The upper electrodes extend in a X-direction intersecting with the Y-direction and are opposed to the plurality of lower electrodes. Each of the lower electrodes includes: a conducting layer; and a protection layer 41. A silver layer and a carbon layer extend in the Y-direction. The protection layer 41 is formed to extend in the Y-direction on both edge portions in a width direction of the conducting layer. |
