PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise by stray light included in signals output in accordance with density of a toner image.SOLUTION: A density sensor 40 includes: a housing 41 that has an opening 45; a light source 42 that irradiates a toner image on an intermediate transfer belt 22 with light from inside the housing 41 through the opening 45; a lens array 43 that focuses light made incident in the housing 41 from the opening 45 into an image; and a line sensor 44 that receives the light focused into an image by the lens array 43, and outputs signals according to the received light. |
