PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-cycle engine capable of installing a lubricant tank and a lubricant supply device in a dead space around a crank case and capable of being constituted compactly, and to provide an engine work machine including the two-cycle engine.SOLUTION: A two-cycle engine includes a lubricant tank 40 for storing lubricant, and a lubricant supply device 50 for suctioning lubricant from the lubricant tank 40 and discharging it to an intake passage 15a. The lubricant supply device 50 is arranged adjacently to the intake passage 15a in an axial direction of a cylinder bore 13. The lubricant tank 40 is adjacent to the lubricant supply device 50, and is arranged adjacently to a crank chamber 21 in a crank case 12 in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the cylinder bore 13. |
