PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a capacitor and a charging device for it to be attached simply to a battery in order to alleviate inrush power in a battery operated system.SOLUTION: A capacitor charging device includes, in its body, a first circuit for connecting a battery and a capacitor C without a load in between, a second circuit for connecting the battery and the capacitor C via a load and charging the capacitor C by the voltage of the battery, and a third circuit provided with a voltmeter V which indicates the charge state of the capacitor C. The body is provided in its outer package with a breaker B for connecting/disconnecting the first circuit, a manual switch S1 for connecting/disconnecting the second circuit, a manual changeover switch S2 for changing the display mode of the voltmeter V of the third circuit between a mode for showing the voltage of the battery or capacitor C and a mode for showing a voltage difference between the battery and capacitor C, and terminals T1 and T2 for connecting the battery to the capacitor charging device. |
