The actuator (1) has a mechanical converter (20) for transmission of motion from an electric motor (10) to a control piston (50b) of a hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder includes a transmitting chamber (31) for transmitting hydraulic pressure toward a receiver of the hydraulic clutch actuator, where a hydraulic compensation chamber (53) of variable volume is placed in the extension of the control piston. The compensation chamber is closed by a compensation piston (54), where the compensation and the transmitting chambers are in communication by a booster pipe (33) in a rest position.
