The module (1) has a quartz resonator or a MEMS resonator enclosed in a housing. The housing is provided with electrical contact pads (15) on an external surface of the housing for electrical connection of the resonator. A printed circuit plate (6) supports the housing and includes electric connection terminals (18) for being connected to the electrical contact pads of the housing. The housing is maintained in a housing structure formed by the plate, a rigid cover (9) and a rigid base of the module through a mechanical shock absorber element (7).
