The kettle (10) has a vertical mixing shaft (7) whose housing is formed with an inner jacket (5) and an outer jacket (4), where the mixing shaft and the housing are arranged in an inner side of the kettle. A space (6) is formed between the inner and outer jackets, for heating and/or cooling a food product. A separate pipe (8) is arranged in an inner side of the housing to discharge heating or cooling fluid i.e. water, from the housing or into the housing. The pipe optionally discharges unnecessary air from the housing. |
