It has been found that the compounds of general formula (I) are metabotropic glutamate receptor antagonists. They can be used in the treatment or prevention of mGluR5 receptor mediated disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease. In one embodiment the compound is 6-(2,5-dimethyl-4-m-tolylethynyl-imidazol-1-yl)-3-methyl-3H-pyrimidin-4-one. |
