595473 Disclosed is a monohydrate of an oxodihydropyridine ethyl phenyl pyridine substituted [1,3]oxazinan-2-one compound of formula (Ip3). An example of compounds of formula (Ip3) is (S)-6-(2-hydroxy-2 -methylpropyl)-3-((S)-1-(4-(1-methyl-2-oxo-1,2 -dihydropyridin-4-yl)phenyl)ethyl)-6-phenyl-1,3-oxazinan-2-one. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions of the novel compounds and methods for their use in the reduction or control of the production of Cortisol in a cell or the inhibition of the conversion of cortisone to Cortisol in a cell.
