The process for heat treating a casted piece (20) made of aluminum alloy under pressure, comprises dissolving the solution in a furnace at a temperature of 20-150[deg] C, which is below the solidus of the alloy in which the piece is maintained at a isothermal temperature for less than 30 minutes, hardening the piece at 0-100[deg] C, and tempering the quenched piece at 130-250[deg] C. The piece is introduced into the furnace at an intermediate temperature, which is lower than the temperature of the solution and greater than the ambient temperature outside the furnace. The introduction of the piece into the furnace is carried out using an intermediate furnace at a temperature of 250-350[deg] C below the temperature of solution and above the room temperature, where the transfer time of the piece between the intermediate furnace and the furnace is = 10 s, or by transferring the casted piece to the furnace at an intermediate temperature for dissolution before the room temperature reaches thermal equilibrium, where the transfer time of the piece between the mold and the furnace is = 30 s. The intermediate temperature of the piece in the furnace is lower than temperature of blistering of the aluminum alloy. The furnace includes a fluidized bed furnace, a salt bath furnace, a lead bath furnace and an oil bath furnace. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a casted piece made of aluminum alloy.
|
