<p>The method involves placing two sensors on a surface of a sample (6), where each sensor comprises two electrodes. Succession cycle of temperature gradient is applied between contact points by heat exchange of the sensors between the sample and a thermal unit. Representative magnitude of the temperature difference between the sensors is measured at different times. The Seebeck coefficient of the sample is estimated by the function of a slope interpolated between potential difference of frames and the representative magnitude at the difference temperature and different times. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an apparatus for determining Seebeck coefficient of a sample (2) a method for characterization of a material.</p> |
