The electronic device can be configured for processing source data corresponding to at least one digital image. The electronic device includes a processing portion which can be configured for receiving and processing source data in a manner so as to produce output signals associated with a portion of the at least one digital image. The portion of the at least one digital image can be associated with a region of interest. The output signals can be based upon for at least one of producing display data displayable as graphic image and salient based learning.
