A vacuum circuit breaker comprises an upper cover plate (5) with an assembly hole (21) and a piston (4) vertically and hermetically inserted into the assembly hole in a slidable manner. A rotating shaft (8) with a rotating axis extending along the horizontal direction is assembled rotationally below the upper cover plate. A connecting lever (7) in transmission connection to a lower end of the piston is fixed on the rotating shaft. A bracket (1) formed by two opposite and spaced side plates is fixed on a lower end surface of the upper cover plate. The rotating shaft is rotationally assembled on the two side plates. According to the vacuum circuit breaker, the structures of the piston, the connecting lever, and the rotating shaft can be seen directly through two holes on the bracket, so that operations such as contact switch-on bounce adjustment and spacing measurement can be performed conveniently on the vacuum circuit breaker. The vacuum circuit breaker is assembled or maintained without a limitation of a connecting lever box, so that the assembly and maintenance are more convenient, and the working efficiency is improved. In addition, the structure of an air seal is further simplified by matching the piston with an assembly hole of a sealing seat.
