PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article such as a pants-type diaper, capable of more surely inhibiting discomfort of a wearer and leakage of excreta even after the excreta is absorbed, while further improving the absorption capacity when an absorber is bent to improve wearing feeling of a wearer and prevent leakage of excreta.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 includes: a center slit 45 formed in an absorber 40 along the lengthwise direction L so that the absorber 40 can be bent to project inwards; and side slits 46L/46R formed in the absorber 40 along the lengthwise direction L so that the absorber 40 can be bent to project outwards. The average weight of water absorptive polymer in the central part CT and the side end parts S/Sis smaller than the average weight of water absorptive polymer in the middle part M/M. The absorber 40 is covered with an absorber surface coating sheet 20 and an absorber back coating sheet 30, and the absorber surface coating sheet is joined to the absorber back coating sheet in the side slits. |
