PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method, and image processing system capable of accurately recognizing a shape of a bead and reducing a calculation load of image processing.SOLUTION: An image processing method for recognizing a shape of a bead on the basis of a plurality of pieces of image data obtained by consecutively photographing and acquiring a welded area during welding includes: a step for binarizing each acquired image data so that a spatter area candidate being a candidate for a bright area corresponding to a spatter can clearly appear; a step for performing XOR operation processing of image data with respect to image data acquired before and after the image so as to extract a spatter area including a spatter area candidate changing between a plurality of pieces of the binarized image data; a step for determining whether the spatter area candidate is a movement spatter area; and a step for removing a spatter range including the movement spatter area in the case that the spatter area candidate is the movement spatter area. An image processing system uses the method. |
