PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavation wheel capable of easily producing a trench very economically and rapidly, and a method for producing a trench in soil.SOLUTION: An excavation wheel 10 for a trench cutter has a drum-like base body. On an outer peripheral surface of the base body 12, stationary holders 30 are arranged in at least one outer peripheral row, and excavation tools for removing the soil are accommodated in the stationary holders. Both of chisels 40 each having a substantially pointed removing chip and cutting teeth 50 each having a substantially linear blade edge are arranged as excavation tools in the at least one outer peripheral row. |
