PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience by reducing trouble with setting a destination because selecting the same every time before a departure is troublesome for a user.SOLUTION: A control section of a navigation device: estimates a direction from a coordinate value of a start point SP to the coordinate value of a present position PP as a travel direction L1; obtains boundary lines L2 and L3 by identifying a predetermined angle range with reference to the traveling direction L1; searches a point having a latitude and a longitude within the angle range from registration place data and destination history data, for example searches a first point P1, a second point P2 and a sixth point P6 out of the first point P1 to the sixth point P6 as the points with the latitudes and the longitudes falling within the predetermined angle range; and displays searched candidate destinations on a display device.
