PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic composition for soft contact lens containing a nonionic surfactant with high hydrophilic property having an HLB of 11 or more, the ophthalmic composition for soft contact lens allowing reduction in the increase of surface friction of soft contact lens and hardly causing deformation to soft contact lens.SOLUTION: An ophthalmic composition for soft contact lens which contains (A) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 11 or more and (B) a polyoxyethylene castor oil with an ethylene oxide having an average addition molar number of 2 to 20 can reduce the increase of surface friction of soft contact lens caused by contact of the ophthalmic composition with soft contact lens and suppress deformation of soft contact lens. |
