This heartbeat measurement method is a heartbeat measurement method for measuring a person's heartbeat in a non-contact manner by obtaining changes in the three-dimensional shape of the chest. This heartbeat measurement method comprises: a first step for obtaining the three-dimensional shape of the surface of a person's thoracoabdominal wall as three-dimensional coordinate point group data; a second step for calculating, as first time-series data, the change over time of the three-dimensional coordinates at the points constituting said three-dimensional coordinate point group data; and a third step for calculating, as second time-series data, the change over time of the three-dimensional coordinates caused by the heartbeat by extracting a component in the frequency band of the heartbeat through band-pass filter processing with respect to said first time-series data.
