The invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used for air cleaning coming into a gas turbine engine of power units. The technical result is aimed at decreasing non-uniformity of velocity field air stream, reducing aerodynamic resistance resulting in raising efficiency of gas turbine plant, reducing noise level in the air intake. According to the invention the air intake, comprising a protective cap carrying a housing of the first purification step with two tiers of unit-modules of cyclone filters, the upper tier serves as a carrying structure for the protective cap, a housing of the second purification step with fine filters, service gangways, the side walls of the protective cap are made so that angle α between the base plane and the side wall plane of the cap comprising a value from 72° to 90°, wherein the base of the protective cap is made so that the distance between cap base side and a side of lower base of lower part of the first step housing constitutes 0.66÷1.02 of width of the lower base of lower part of the first step housing, a special guiding element is fixed to longitudinal sides of the upper base of upper part of the first step housing. |
