PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an initial cost and a maintenance cost of an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A charge control unit 1 comprises: a control section 2; two opening-closing sections 3A and 3B; service fee collection section 4; and two selective input reception sections 5A and 5B. The control section 2 closes one of the opening-closing sections 3A and 3B for which the selective input is received by the selective input reception sections 5A and 5B to permit the usage of cable units 200A and 200B, when service fee is collected at the service fee collection section 4. Therefore, in the charge control unit 1 of an embodiment, as charge control and service fee collection can be carried out for a plurality of electric vehicles with one charge control unit 1, an initial cost and a maintenance cost required when installing a charging station can be reduced compared to the conventional examples.
