PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for producing a bead member ensuring that the position of a bead core in a tire is a stable proper position; and the bead member.SOLUTION: A method for producing a beam member includes: a rubber coating step of coating an annular bead core 2, except for a partial peripheral surface thereof, with a rubber member 3 so as to constitute a bead member structure 1'; and a press step of pressing the bead member structure 1' in a center direction of the cross section of the bead member structure 1' so as to form a bead member 1 having a predetermined shape. A bead member is formed in a predetermined shape in which an annular bead core except for a partial peripheral surface thereof is coated with a rubber member. |
