PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a complex for carbon dioxide separation, for stably producing, on a gas permeable support, the complex for the carbon dioxide separation including a carbon dioxide separation layer and a porous film with high productivity while transporting a belt-like support.SOLUTION: The method of producing the complex for carbon dioxide separation comprises: a step of preparing application liquid at a temperature between 50°C and 90°C, the application liquid including a water absorbent polymer, a carbon dioxide carrier, a gelation agent, and water and being gelated within 120 seconds when a coating film having a thickness of 1 mm or less is formed and kept under a temperature condition of 12°C; a step of applying the application liquid onto a belt-like support having an air permeability of 10 ml/cm/sec or more and having a test-piece elongation of 5% or less under a load of 5 N; a step of obtaining a gel film by cooling the obtained coating film under a temperature condition of 12°C or less; a step of forming on the support a laminate including the carbon dioxide separation layer by drying the gel film and a step of obtaining the complex for the carbon dioxide separation by overlapping a porous film on the surface of the carbon dioxide separation layer. |
