PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas separation membrane excellent in gas selectivity, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A gas separation membrane, which is for separating at least one gas from a mixed gas, mainly comprises cellulose nanofibers having a carboxylic acid type group on the surface thereof. A method for producing the gas separation membrane includes steps of: preparing a first cellulose nanofiber dispersion by dispersing cellulose nanofibers having a carboxylate type group; gelling the cellulose nanofibers by adding an acid to the first cellulose nanofiber dispersion to substitute the carboxylate type group with a carboxylic acid type group; preparing a second cellulose nanofiber dispersion by redispersing the gel in a solvent; and forming the second cellulose nanofiber dispersion into a membrane shape. |
