PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of flexibly coping even with small lot multi-product production, by accurately controlling a position of a dyeing boundary line formed in a lens, when half-dyeing the lens by an immersion system.SOLUTION: A lens dyeing device 1 comprises: a dyeing tank 6 for storing a dyeing liquid 5; a lens holding tool 3 for holding the lens 2; a lifting device 4 for lifting the lens holding tool 3; a liquid level detection sensor 7; and a control part 8, and the liquid level detection sensor 7 is constituted by using a sensor of varying output in response to a height of a liquid level 5a of the dyeing liquid 5, and the control part 8 is constituted for controlling driving of the lifting device 4 so as to adjust an immersion quantity of the lens 2 in response to an output variation in the liquid level detection sensor 7 when immersing the lens 2 held by the lens holding tool 3 in the dyeing liquid 5 in the dyeing tank 6. |
