<p>Provided is a connector comprising: a lock piece (35) that is provided inside the connecting section (25) of a female terminal (20) and that elastically locks to a male terminal (10); a follower section (38) that is provided to both edges of the lock piece (35); a cam section (53) that is formed on both of the facing walls of a cavity (41), and that engages with the follower section (38) when a housing (40) moves from the locked state of the female/male terminals (20, 10) in a rearward direction and causes the lock piece (35) to be elastically displaced in a lock release direction; and flexible contact biasing sections (51, 52) that are formed on the rear portion of the cam section (53) and that engage with the follower section (38) at the insertion path for the female terminal (20) and cause the follower section (38) to slide in an elastic contact state in conjunction with the elastic displacement of the lock piece (35). A displacement amount-maintaining section (52) that maintains the displacement amount of the lock piece (35) at a constant amount is formed on the elastic contact biasing section in an area that corresponds to a position on an insertion path that is in front of a position where a lance (45) moves backward and locks to the female terminal (20).</p> |
