The method involves evaluating inductance of magnetic coil depending on inductance of coil for monitoring closing operation of the energized closed magnetic valve (10) during observation period. The presence or an absence of closing movement of valve element (14) of the magnetic valve is judged based on the comparison of the non-energized closed magnetic valve gradient angle and preset threshold value. The magnetic valve is closed by movement of the valve element if the gradient angle of valve is larger than threshold value. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a computer program for monitoring closing operation of non-energized closed magnetic valve; and (2) a control and regulating device for magnetic valve.
