Device (1) for producing three-dimensional objects (7) by consecutively solidifying layers of a powder, by electromagnetic radiation or building material (6) via particle beam solidifiable on the cross section of the objects to the respective corresponding locations, comprises: a support device with a vertically adjustable support for supporting the object; a coating device (5) for applying layers of the building material; and an irradiation device for irradiating applied layers of building material on the locations corresponding to respective cross section of the object.
