PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation state detection device capable of improving the reliability of a detection signal of a sensor, and an electric power steering device including the same.SOLUTION: A rotation state detection device 40 includes a torque detection device 40A and a reference position detection device 40B. The torque detection device 40A has a torque detection magnet 43, magnetic yokes 51, 52, a housing 19, and a torque sensor 44 attached to a specific region of the housing 19 and outputting a torque detection signal. The reference position detection device 40B has a yoke member 54 rotating integrally with the magnetic yokes 51, 52, and an index sensor 45 attached to a specific region of the housing 19 and outputting a position detection signal when the phases of the magnetic yokes 51, 52 with respect to the housing 19 are in a reference phase. An electronic control device corrects the torque detection signal when the phases of the magnetic yokes 51, 52 with respect to the housing 19 are in the reference phase. |
