PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system that minimizes exhaustion of catalysts used in burning off-gas hydrogen and that allows effective heat exchange.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 includes: a first catalyst 12 that burns off-gas hydrogen from a fuel cell 11; a second catalyst 13 that burns off-gas hydrogen from the fuel cell 11; first off-gas hydrogen emission lines L1 and L2 that connect the fuel cell 11 and the first catalyst 12 and through which off-gas from the fuel cell 11 flows in a non-rated operation where there is a larger volume of off-gas hydrogen than in a rated operation; second off-gas hydrogen emission lines L1 and L3 that connect the fuel cell 11 and the second catalyst 13 and through which off-gas from the fuel cell 11 flows in the rated operation; a first communicating emission line L4 that connects the first catalyst 12 and the second catalyst 13 and that allows off-gas having passed through the first catalyst 12 to flow through the second catalyst 13; and a second communicating emission line L5 through which off-gas having passed through the second catalyst 13 flows. |
