PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device that allows a reduction in size of the recording device to be achieved without much hindrance to wiring work between a main substrate and a mechanism section.SOLUTION: A main substrate 70 arranged at one end portion of a device main body in a width direction is horizontally arranged at an end portion of a mechanism component arrangement area in the device main body in the width direction by utilizing a space. A plurality of relay substrates 91 and 92 is vertically arranged at positions above the main substrate 70 in the mechanism component arrangement area, and the main substrate 70 and the plurality of relay substrates 91 and 92 are connected to one another via FFCs 96 and 97 connected to respective connectors 77 and 99. A plurality of connectors 98 for connecting wiring from a printer mechanism section is provided to the two relay substrates 91 and 92. |
