PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically powered carrier that can be stopped or slowed down without operating means for inputting brake amount feeling like an engine brake.SOLUTION: The electrically powered carrier 1 comprises a brake tank 40 for storing compressed air generated by a compressor 20 and at least two pipe lines between the brake tank 40 and an air brake device 7. One of the pipe lines comprises a brake valve 50 turned on and off with a brake pedal 14 and a double check valve 80 between the brake valve 50 and the air brake device 7. The other pipe line comprises an electric pneumatic converter 70 turned on and off based on the output of a controller 90 for generating a control signal Vout on the basis of movement of loosening an accelerator pedal 13 and is connected to the double check valve 80. The double check valve 80 is communicated with either pipe line, having higher pressure, of the two pipe lines to supply the air brake device 7 with compressed air.
