The present invention relates to a method for producing red ginseng containing linoliec acid, comprising the steps of: adding seeds containing a linoleic acid into water, and boiling the water with the seeds to generate steam; steaming fresh ginseng or red ginseng using the steam generated in the boiling step; and drying the fresh ginseng or red ginseng which is steamed in the steaming step. According to the present invention, the amount of ginsenoside, which is the effective compound in red ginseng, is increased, and the concentrations of the ginsenoside and the linoleic acid are increased, thus allowing the ginseng to have advantageous effects. |
