The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, particularly, to combined internal combustion, gasoline and diesel engines used in various technical fields, including in cars, tractors, fixed installations etc. The object of the invention is to improve the efficiency of the combined piston engine by reducing mechanical losses and, as a consequence, to lower fuel consumption per power unit. To achieve this objective, the following design and operation principle of the engine is proposed. A combined piston engine comprises at least two integrated units, at least one of which serves to transform the reciprocating motion of the pistons into rotational motion. Furthermore, at least one unit is a pressure generator in the form of parallel interconnected internal combustion engine cylinders and hydraulic cylinders. The other unit is designed as a hydraulic propeller with a turbine having radial blades. |
