PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical and dental material having excellent bone conductivity by a simple method.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a medical and dental material having excellent bone conductivity includes the steps of: preparing a medical and dental material; preparing a water contact angle adjusting liquid having an ionic concentration which allows the water contact angle of the surface of the medical and dental material to be adjusted to less than 10°; and contacting the surface of the medical and dental material with the water contact angle adjusting liquid so as to be maintained in the contacted state.
