PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contour image generation method for use in morphological observation of a subject in a simple manner by using at least a function of a camera including a digital camera and a smartphone, and provide a scoliosis screening system using the same.SOLUTION: A contour image generation method for scoliosis screening comprises: a process of outputting a digital image by capturing a rear surface image of a subject; a process of extracting a luminance signal for each pixel from the captured digital image; a process of generating a quantized image by quantizing the extracted luminance signals based on a predetermined threshold; a process of converting pixels into an image by connecting pixels of the same quantization level according to each quantization level in the quantized image; and a process of displaying the image made by connecting the pixels of the same quantization level on a display and allowing observation of displacement of a high grade in the rear surface of the subject. |
