PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a circularly knitted fabric capable of stably manufacturing a fabric having a maximum elongation in a circumferential direction of 200% in the circularly knitted fabric.SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing a circularly knitted fabric for forming a cylindrical circularly knitted texture having a large elongation in a circumferential direction by knitting an elastic inserting yarn 3 in a course direction while making stitches with an elastic knitting yarn 2, predetermined active feeding means 30 are respectively disposed on routes of the knitting yarn 2 and the inserting yarn 3 for feeding the knitting yarn 2 and the inserting yarn 3 while enlarging elongation of these to feed the knitting yarn 2 and the inserting yarn 3 to the circular knitting machine 40 with the active feeding means 30 while keeping amounts of feeding of the knitting yarn 2 and the inserting yarn 3 constant respectively.
