PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for mapping different road network data to each other.SOLUTION: In a method of mapping road network data where a first storage section storing first road network data with a road attribute added (first data) and a second storage section storing second road network data which is different from the first data (second data) are provided so that a link in the first data and a link in the second data are mapped to each other, a first comparison source link and a first comparison destination link satisfying a first condition are extracted from the first storage section and the second storage section respectively, a road attribute of the extracted first comparison source link and a road attribute of the extracted first comparison destination link are compared with each other on the basis of the predetermined part of the road attributes, and the first comparison source link and the first comparison destination link are mapped to each other when, as a result of the comparison, the road attribute of the first comparison source link and the road attribute of the first comparison destination link match each other. |
